The artwork is a detailed still life that highlights personal objects that I value and enjoy in my life. At the center is a teddy bear that I brought on my first trip without my parents. It brought me a sense of comfort in their absence being that my very first build a bear was with them. In front of the bear is my playstation controller that my grandmother gifted to me shortly before her passing. The controller shows my interest in technology and gaming. The controller was placed in the foreground at an angle adding depth to the piece drawing the viewers eye foreward. Behind the controller are my crocs that are riddled in little charms showing my individuality and giving insight to my personality. Resting nearby are my phone and I pad with special bracelet hanging on the phone gifted to me by a friend. Overall the piece combines sentimental items and personal style to show a snapshot of my life and me as a person. Careful shading and highlights make this piece look almost 3D while the dark background help things stand out clearer.
