My art work includes “The Empire Grocery” located 12 North Shore Road Devonshire Bermuda. You can see graffiti on the walls which happened on Feb 13, 2019. This act of vandalism horrible to women. There is a homeless man-on the right side sitting against the buliding. He is seen smoking a cigarette not only showing that alot of Bermudians pick up the habit of smoking which can cause health problems. It also demonstrates Bermuda’s poverty and homlessness that we have on the Island. My theme is important because it shows the downside of Bermuda like the homeless of poverty. As well as the vandalism that’s happening. It shows that Bermuda isn’t so perfect and people should be aware.
